As usual the short ribs were very good.. Can't go wrong with that one !!
Today another one that is easy and will fill you up !! My mom used to spend hours making Spaghetti and meat balls and we all used to eat till it was coming out our ears... Now I'm not saying what I make is any where near as good as hers, because you have to respect your parents, but, it's pretty good .. Also with today's premade sauces why waste your time.. All you have to do to a jar of your favorite sauce is add some extra parm cheese, a little red wine and of course extra garlic. Garlic is a must to make it taste something like mom's..
Meat balls are easy to make and are much better than the bought kind.
Mix the ground beef with 2 eggs, 1/2 cup parm cheese, 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste and a good pinch of hot pepper flakes.. Form into 2 in balls and just drop them raw into the sauce. Let them cook for at least two hours to really make the sauce good.
Cook the Spaghetti and I'm sure you know what to do after that, right..
Bake some garlic bread and make a nice salad and you're good for a fantastic meal... One I could eat just about every day...

Well I don't think Shrimp are meant to be baked, although they were tasty just a little dry. Not a receipt I'll try to often.
Today it's braised beef short ribs in the crock pot. Now this I've tried many times and I am never disappointed.
Coat ribs in flour seasoned with salt and pepper, then brown in olive oil.
Put in crock pot:
1 onion chopped
one cup red wine
2 tbs vinegar
2 tbs Worcestershire
1 cup salsa
1 ts dry mustard
1 tbs Chile powder
dash of hot pepper flakes
1 ts garlic powder
Add ribs to pot and stir
cook on low for 8 hrs and enjoy..
OK here's today's picture

Cooking and Photography
Hi All,
This is new to me so please just go along and lets see what happens.
I guess my favorite hobby is Photography but, some where in there I also have found a passion to cook. Now my Photography (at least I think so) is better than my cooking. Some people might dissagee and really I don't care. As long as I can eat what I cook and maybe sell a picture here and there I happy.
First we'll start with tonights receipt : Baked Shrimp
Pound of shrimp
1/2 cup melted butter - use real butter, not the fake stuff
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp lemmon juice
dry sherry to taste
Combine all the stuff. Spread shrimp on cookie sheet and sprinkel mixture ove them.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.... Enjoy
